Where each market sits technically right now:

• S&P 500, NASDAQ, Dow: Confirmed bull, but overbought (RSI 74 to 80 on the four-week chart). Better entries come on pullbacks rather than buying the current levels.

• Nifty, BankNifty: Nifty in bear-bounce territory. BankNifty is below all its moving averages. This looks discouraging on the daily chart. It is not. Markets that have corrected are exactly what Jupiter Cancer recovers on June 2. Accumulate on weakness now.

• ASX 200: In transition at 8,744. Below EMA20 and EMA50, RSI 48. Not confirmed bull yet. June 2 changes that.

• Gold: Also in transition at $4,720, below its 20-day and 50-day moving averages. Support at $4,400, resistance at $4,851. The below-EMA position heading into May 29 is exactly right; the dip is setting up as it should.

• Silver: Already a confirmed bull above all moving averages. RSI 57.8. Support $79.00, resistance $82.83. Silver is the stronger technical picture of the two metals right now.

• Bitcoin: Between its moving averages, RSI 63.3. Support $74,959, resistance $90,502. The next few weeks are the last clean window to reduce.

Jupiter is currently at 25 degrees Gemini, 24 days from Cancer. Everything you see in markets right now is the pre-launch phase. The first hard move fires on Monday, May 11.

A few readers wrote in this week asking about the planetary setup in late 2026 and early 2027. There is a lot of chatter in astrology circles about a rare convergence of Saturn, Jupiter, and Ketu in water signs. Most of the commentary I have seen frames it as a single crisis period to brace for.

That framing misses something important. And missing it leads to a real investment mistake.

This alignment does not create one window. It creates two, with completely different assets in each one. The first window is already open, right now in May 2026. Waiting for the “big alignment” in November means sitting out a strong bull phase that is active today.

You do not need to be an astrologer to follow this. Here is the short version.

Saturn is in Pisces. Saturn is the planet of restriction and structure. Pisces rules oceans, oil, and isolation. Saturn has been here since late 2025 and stays through this entire period. Think of it as a slow structural pressure on anything connected to water and supply chains.

Ketu moves into Cancer on December 5, 2026. Ketu is the south node of the Moon and is associated with sudden breaks and disruptions. Cancer rules food supply, coastlines, domestic stability, and the homeland. When Ketu moves into Cancer, it tends to bring abrupt shocks to the things Cancer protects: sea routes, food chains, housing.

Jupiter retrogrades into Cancer on January 25, 2027. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and wealth, and Cancer is the sign where Jupiter reaches its strongest position. But it will be sitting alongside Ketu at that point, with Saturn still in Pisces. Massive expansion energy in the sign of nourishment, right next to a planet of disruption. That is the unusual setup this alignment creates.

By April 2027, Mars also joins Cancer in a weakened position. Four planets across two water signs at the same time. This is what everyone is talking about.

But here is what the planetary data actually shows when you run the numbers: there is a strong bull phase happening right now, before any of that arrives.

Window 1 Is Open Now: May to October 31, 2026

Jupiter is currently in Cancer in its strongest position: direct, exalted, fully active. It has not yet moved to Leo (that happens when this window closes). Saturn is in Pisces. Venus is in its own sign. The combination is strongly bullish for equities and precious metals right now.

This window closes precisely on October 31, 2026. That date is not an estimate. That is when Jupiter moves into Leo and the planetary character of the sky changes sharply.

Here is what each major asset class looks like inside this window.

Gold and Silver: Bullish Through the Window, With Two Dip Entry Points

Gold is in a clear bull trend through this window, with the strongest signal arriving in early July. Silver follows closely.

What makes this period particularly useful for gold investors are two short-term pullbacks within the broader bull trend. These are not trend reversals. They are temporary dips where the signal briefly goes negative before resuming:

• May 29 to June 1: A short-term bearish dip in gold before the trend resumes

• August 3 to August 12: A second dip, again brief, before gold resumes strongly

If you are looking to build or add to a gold position, these two windows are the entry points the planetary data flags. The dip is not the story. It is the setup.

Indian Equities (Nifty) and Australian Equities (ASX): The Strongest Signal in This Cycle

This is the part that surprised me when I ran the data. Both Nifty and ASX are showing one of the strongest bullish signals in this entire multi-year cycle from early June through mid-September 2026.

Jupiter exalted in Cancer directly supports equity expansion - institutional investment, optimism, broad market growth. The signal for both Indian and Australian markets is about as strong as it gets during this window. If you are in either market, early June is when this phase accelerates.

US Equities (S&P 500): Bullish Through the Window

The S&P 500 is also bullish inside this window, though not at the same intensity as Nifty and ASX. The directional signal is positive and holds through October.

Bitcoin: Turning Bear From June

This is the asset that moves opposite to the equity and gold trend in this window.

When Jupiter reaches its exaltation in Cancer, the historical pattern is clear: it pulls capital toward conventional safe-haven assets - gold, equities - and away from speculative instruments. Bitcoin’s signal is neutral right now but starts turning bearish from June 2026 and reaches a sustained bear phase by August.

This is not a short dip. The planetary data points to a directional shift, not a correction inside a bull trend. If you are holding Bitcoin, June is when the picture changes.

Worth asking yourself right now: Are you positioned for Window 1, or are you waiting for the November alignment that most commentary is focused on?

The Bridge Period: November 2026 to January 24, 2027

Window 1 ends on October 31. The day Jupiter moves into Leo, the equity signal drops sharply from bullish to bearish in a single step.

This is the stress period the astrology community has been warning about. Jupiter, Ketu, and Mars gather in Leo and the surrounding sky. Ketu disrupts. Mars agitates. Saturn aspects from Pisces. The character of this phase:

• Stock markets facing correction and sustained headwind

• Authority structures and government leadership under pressure

• Gold moving inversely to equities - doing what gold is supposed to do in a crisis

December 13, 2026 is the peak gold signal inside this bridge. While equities are in their deepest bear phase, gold is at its strongest point in this bridge period. That contrast is significant.

What to hold through this period: gold and silver. What to avoid: most equities and sector ETFs. The planetary data does not support fighting this period with bear bets either, just hold the metals and wait.

The question to sit with between November and late January is not whether to sell gold. It is whether you have enough of it.

Window 2 Starts January 25, 2027: The Longer Trade

On January 25, 2027, Jupiter retrogrades back into Cancer and reaches its exaltation. Ketu is already in Cancer. Saturn holds Pisces. The full water-sign alignment is complete.

This is when the second and longer-duration trade opens.

Cancer is the sign of nourishment, harvest, and the homeland. Jupiter at full strength in Cancer historically signals a bull market in everything Cancer rules: food companies, water utilities, agricultural producers. The planetary logic is direct, the planet of expansion is in the sign of nourishment.

There is also a specific signal for silver at this date. The combination of Jupiter exalted in Cancer has historically marked major long-term silver bottoms. The two most significant recent examples: 1991 and 2003. This does not mean silver spikes immediately, it means the conditions for a secular silver bull begin from this point.

Gold also remains strongly bullish into this window.

At the same time, Venus moved into Taurus (her own sign) on Sunday, which activates a wealth and credit expansion signal that benefits banking, metals, and financial stocks through the week. The Sun is moving toward its peak strength and hits that peak around Friday, which is also the day the Moon enters Pushya, the single most reliable accumulation signal in this framework.

The week structure is: buy Monday, be careful Tuesday, trade (not hold) the Wednesday crypto spike, add Thursday, maximum position Friday April 24.

One caution flag: signal quality for NASDAQ this week is around 65% due to Mercury’s current position. Use index-level positions (QQQ, S&P futures) rather than concentrated single-name tech bets.

A few weeks back I ran a full pattern comparison. 150 years of Australian housing history mapped against planetary cycles tracked through Swiss Ephemeris data.

Melbourne fell 51% in the 1890s. Sydney dropped 36% in the same period. The 1990 crash wiped 20% in real terms. That one gave us the “recession we had to have.”

Each of those crashes had a fingerprint. A set of conditions that showed up together. Over 150 years I found six recurring signals. The 1990 crash, the worst in modern Australian history, matched four of them.

Right now, going into 2026, all six are active simultaneously.

That has not happened before. Not once in 150 years of data.

How This Analysis Works

I mapped 150 years of Australian property crashes against planetary cycles. The key planets involved are Saturn (associated with debt, credit structures, and financial regulation), Jupiter (associated with optimism and market peaks), and the lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu (which mark structural sentiment shifts).

Each major crash left a cluster of these conditions active at the same time. I extracted six recurring signatures from the worst downturns. The more signatures that align at once, the more severe the historical outcome.

Here is how the major crashes scored against these six signals:

The 1890s crash scored 1 out of 6. Melbourne fell 51%, Sydney 36%. The 1930s scored 1 out of 6. The 1950s scored 1 out of 6. The 1974 downturn scored 1 out of 6. The 1990 crash scored 4 out of 6 and produced roughly 20% real decline.

The 2026 to 2027 window scores 6 out of 6.

The Six Warning Signals

Signal 1: Hidden debt surfaces (Saturn-Neptune alignment in Pisces)

Every time Saturn and Neptune have aligned within 5 degrees in the sky, a significant credit stress cycle has followed in Australian real estate. The 1952 alignment produced a 28% housing decline. The 1989 alignment produced the 20% real decline and the “recession we had to have.”

The exact alignment this cycle occurred around February 2026. As of April 2026, Saturn sits at 13 degrees Pisces and Neptune at 8 degrees Pisces, approximately 5 degrees apart.

What makes this version different is that Neptune rules Pisces, the sign the alignment is occurring in. That makes this the strongest version of this signal in modern data. Hidden debt, stretched mortgages, and credit stress that does not yet show in headline numbers tend to surface when this signal fires.

Signal 2: The blow-off top (Jupiter moving into Cancer)

When Jupiter enters Cancer, where it performs at its historical strongest, Australian property has consistently seen a sharp final surge in prices followed by an equally sharp reversal. This happened in 1988 to 1989, directly before the 1990 crash.

Jupiter enters Cancer again around June 2026 and peaks through November 2026. This is the window where FOMO buying typically intensifies, auction clearance rates look strong, and the media narrative settles on “property always goes up.” The pattern says this phase ends badly.

Signal 3: The sentiment shift (Rahu moves to Capricorn, Ketu moves to Cancer in January 2027)

The lunar nodes, Rahu and Ketu, shift axis roughly every 18 months and mark structural changes in collective behaviour around specific sectors. When this axis aligns across the Capricorn-Cancer line, Australian property sentiment has historically undergone a hard reset. It happened in 1989 to 1990.

In January 2027, Rahu moves into Capricorn and Ketu moves into Cancer. This time, Pluto has been sitting in Capricorn since 2020. Rahu and Pluto aligning in Capricorn simultaneously is a configuration with no direct modern parallel. The structural disruption potential around property ownership is significantly higher than in prior cycles.

Signal 4: The sharpest single-month trigger (Mars in Cancer opposite Pluto in Capricorn)

Mars in Cancer is in a weakened position in this system. When it faces off against Pluto in Capricorn at close range, the pattern shows sudden reversals in construction, land, and credit markets.

This exact configuration fires in October 2026 at a 1-degree orb, the tightest and most acute version of this signal. It repeats during a retrograde pass in April 2027. October 2026 is the single sharpest reversal window in the entire sequence.

Signal 5: Financial regulation breaks down (Saturn enters Aries in May 2027)

Saturn in Aries is in its weakest position. Saturn governs banks, lending frameworks, and financial regulation. When it is in Aries, the historical pattern shows impulsive and poorly structured financial decisions replacing disciplined controls. The 1974 downturn featured Saturn in a similarly weakened state. Saturn enters Aries around May 2027, in the middle of the Rahu-Pluto-Ketu configuration described above. There is no comparable stabilising factor present this time.

Signal 6: The eclipse trigger (Lunar eclipse in Magha, August 2026)

In 1989 and again in 2007, a lunar eclipse in the Magha nakshatra, a lunar mansion historically associated with property and ancestral land, marked the inflection point between the final price surge and the beginning of the decline. The next such eclipse falls in August 2026, directly inside the Jupiter-Cancer blow-off top phase.

The Five Phases: What to Watch and When

This is not a single event. It plays out across five overlapping phases.

April to June 2026 (Setup)

On the surface, nothing looks alarming. Prices may appear stable or slightly positive. The RBA may be pausing rate moves or cutting. But debt is accumulating in ways that will not show in headline data yet. This is the quiet phase before the noise starts.

July to October 2026 (Blow-off top)

This is the most dangerous phase for new buyers. Property prices surge. Media coverage gets bullish. Auction clearance rates are high. This looks like confirmation that conditions are strong. The August 2026 eclipse is the hidden inflection point sitting inside this phase. The pattern says this is the peak, not a new floor.

October to December 2026 (The turn)

The Mars-Pluto opposition fires at 1-degree orb in October 2026. Monthly price data begins turning negative. Auction clearance rates drop. Jupiter moves from Cancer to Leo before December, removing the optimism floor that held prices up through the previous phase.

January to April 2027 (Acceleration)

Rahu shifts to Capricorn and Ketu shifts to Cancer in January 2027. Jupiter turns retrograde back into Cancer in early 2027. By April 2027, three planets are simultaneously in Cancer in weakened or retrograde positions: Ketu, Mars retrograde and debilitated, and Jupiter retrograde. The “safe as houses” narrative begins breaking publicly across media, policy, and market data.

May to September 2027 (Maximum pressure)

Saturn enters Aries debilitated around May 2027. Forced selling, distressed auctions, and credit market stress are the pattern signals for this phase. Rahu and Pluto are both in Capricorn. This is where the steepest monthly declines historically appear, and where potential credit events become possible.

How Bad Could It Get?

Based on the historical match scores, here are the four scenarios the data supports:

Mild outcome (15% probability): RBA policy response absorbs the shock. 5 to 8% nominal decline. Closest parallel is Australia in 2008, when Jupiter in its own sign provided a temporary floor.

Moderate outcome (40% probability): 15 to 20% real decline. Direct 1990 echo. The same conditions that produced the “recession we had to have” are repeating, with a higher signal count.

Severe outcome (35% probability): 20 to 30% real decline. No single modern parallel. The closest match is a combined reading from the 1950s decline of 28% and the 1990 decline.

Depression-scale outcome (10% probability): Would require a banking system failure combined with a global recession trigger firing simultaneously.

Base case: 15 to 25% real decline in Australian residential property, concentrated between October 2026 and September 2027.

Sydney and Melbourne carry the highest risk, given high debt-to-income ratios and investor concentration. WA and QLD may hold up longer through the Jupiter-exalted phase into late 2026, supported by commodity-related income, before turning during Phase 5.

Regional and coastal markets that surged post-COVID face the greatest nominal risk.

What Could Soften the Fall

This is not a one-sided picture. A few factors push back against the bearish signals.

Jupiter in Cancer runs through November 2026 and provides a 4 to 6 month buffer. Sharp falls before October 2026 are unlikely based on pattern history. The RBA still has room to cut rates and deploy first-home buyer support, the same tools used in 2008. Structural undersupply in Sydney and Melbourne provides a demand floor that did not exist in the 1890s or 1930s. The global environment through mid-2026 is broadly supportive of growth assets.

The key point the data makes is this: mitigating factors can delay and soften the cycle, but nothing in the current configuration cancels a pattern this strong.

Try This:

If you hold property in Sydney or Melbourne, review your fixed versus variable rate exposure before October 2026. That is the window where the first visible data shift in clearance rates is most likely to appear based on this analysis. You do not need to act now. But you do want to know where your numbers stand before the monthly data starts turning.

Ketu is a shadow point in Vedic astrology. A simple way to think of it: a force that strips assets back to their real value, cutting through whatever is inflated or over-priced. In all three Ketu-in-Magha transits, a lunar eclipse has fallen in the same part of the sky, with the Sun sitting close to Ketu at the time. That is a tight three-for-three repeat.

• August 17, 1989: Lunar eclipse in Magha. Sun at 0.8° Leo. Ketu gap 1.1°. The tightest alignment of the three.

• August 28, 2007: Lunar eclipse in Magha. Sun at 10.9° Leo. Ketu gap 2.2°. Fired within five days of the transit opening.

• August 28, 2026: Lunar eclipse in Magha. Sun at 11.0° Leo. Ketu gap 5.7°. The widest gap of the three.

1989: A Slow Build

The 1989 transit ran January 15 to September 24. Saturn was in Sagittarius, sitting at a 120-degree angle (trine) to Ketu in Leo throughout. A trine delivers pressure gradually, not in a burst.

That pattern matched the data. Venus was weakened by proximity to the Sun for 78 days, from February 24 to May 13. That is the longest stretch of its kind across all three periods, and Venus governs property values and luxury demand. Then, from August 9 through September 24, Mars went through the same weakening, overlapping exactly with the lunar eclipse on August 17. Construction sentiment and developer activity pulled back sharply in that window.

The transit closed September 24, 1989. And then, not much happened right away.

The real damage came 6 to 18 months later. US commercial real estate entered a multi-year decline. UK interest rates hit 15% in October 1989, just one month after the transit closed, triggering the worst modern housing crash in that country’s history through 1990 to 1993. Australia went through a deep recession starting 1990. India saw urban market stagnation heading into the 1991 credit and reform crisis.

The 1989 transit was a slow fuse. The detonation came well after it ended.

2007-08: When the Floor Went

The 2007-08 transit ran August 23, 2007 to April 30, 2008. This one was different from day one.

Saturn was already in Leo when Ketu entered. By October 11, 2007, Saturn and Ketu reached an exact conjunction, just 0.1° apart. Saturn rules property structures and debt. Ketu dissolves. When they meet at that closeness, there is no slow fuse. The underlying reality just surfaces all at once.

The Dow Jones peaked on October 9, 2007, two days before the exact conjunction. The financial system’s last act of denial before recognition hit.

Mercury was weakened by solar proximity for 49 days, from November 22 through January 10. Mars was retrograde (moving backward in the sky) through Gemini from November 2007 through January 2008. Mortgage applications froze. Housing starts collapsed.

By April 30, 2008, when Ketu exited Magha, the damage was fully in view. US home prices fell more than 20% nationally. The UK saw its first annual price decline in 13 years, and Northern Rock was nationalised. Australia held better, partly shielded by commodity export income, but short-term capital city prices dipped sharply. India saw a hard liquidity freeze after the Lehman collapse, with major project activity halting for 12 to 18 months.

Saturn conjunct Ketu at 0.1° is the signature of structural collapse. That configuration does not exist in 2026.

2026: What Is Different This Time

The most important number in this year’s analysis is the Saturn-Ketu angle. Saturn is in Pisces, sitting roughly 100 to 139 degrees from Ketu in Leo. That range falls between a square and a trine, with no strong classical aspect connecting them.

Compare that to the 0.1° conjunction in 2007-08. The 2026 configuration is the weakest Saturn-Ketu relationship across all three periods. That removes the floor-collapse risk that defined 2007.

But there is a second factor that makes 2026 genuinely unusual. Jupiter enters Cancer on June 2, 2026, reaching its strongest placement in the zodiac (exaltation). Cancer governs homes, families, and domestic property. Jupiter in exaltation expanding through Cancer from June through October is the most housing-positive signal in the entire transit window. Affordable family housing, in particular, picks up a real tailwind here.

So 2026 runs both directions at once. The same transit that historically cracks property markets is this time layered with Jupiter’s strongest position for housing demand.

The most probable 2026 outcome: a structural reset, not a crash.

• June 2: Jupiter enters Cancer (its strongest placement). Housing demand, especially family-sized and affordable, strengthens through October.

• August 12: Solar eclipse in Cancer (25.6°, Ashlesha nakshatra). Mortgage debt and refinancing stress surfaces. Watch for HELOC and CMBS-related announcements.

• August 28: Lunar eclipse in Magha. Sun at 11.0° Leo, Ketu gap 5.7°. The main inflection point for 2026. Every prior cycle had its property market turning point within 30 days of this date.

• October 18 to 30: Venus weakened by solar proximity. Luxury property valuations dip; premium listings sit longer; REIT pricing pulls back.

• October 31: Jupiter enters Leo, moving into conjunction with Ketu (gap 1.9°). Attention shifts from housing demand to property authority and ownership structures.

• November 15: Triple conjunction. Mars, Jupiter, and Ketu all in Leo, within 1.4° of each other. This is the most compressed multi-planet event of the entire transit. Forced restructuring, compulsory acquisitions, or a major regulatory announcement in property markets.

• December 6: Ketu exits Leo. Jupiter remains at 2.7° Leo and Mars at 9.6° Leo. The restructuring momentum carries into 2027.

Country-by-Country Outlook

USA

Refinancing stress continues, particularly in commercial real estate. Residential sees modest growth driven by Jupiter in Cancer from June through October. The August 12 solar eclipse in Cancer targets commercial mortgage markets specifically. Watch for a credit signal or major lender announcement around late August. A post-transit correction risk (similar to 1989) exists if the November triple conjunction triggers policy tightening rather than relief.

UK

The premium and luxury end stalls during Venus combust in October. Volume falls but prices hold overall. Without Saturn pressure directly on Leo, there is no structural collapse risk. The ceiling here is affordability, not systemic failure.

Australia

The strongest performer in this window. Supply shortages combined with Jupiter in exaltation in Cancer create continued price support, particularly in family housing, through mid-2026. The August 28 eclipse may bring a short-term sentiment shift, but the underlying demand backdrop is intact through at least October.

India

Regulatory reset is the dominant theme for the final quarter. The November 15 triple conjunction in Magha points toward a major government or RERA-level announcement, possible developer consolidation, or a new property tax framework. Builders and developers should watch Q4 2026 closely. The 1989 analog matters here: post-transit pressure can take 6 to 12 months to fully surface.

That said, the post-transit window (January to June 2027) is worth watching. The 1989 transit detonated 6 to 18 months after it closed. If November’s triple conjunction triggers policy tightening rather than reform, the same delayed-fuse dynamic could apply.

The August 28, 2026 lunar eclipse in Magha is the date I am watching most closely this year. In both prior cycles, the property market turning point came within 30 days of this eclipse. It may surface as a central bank move, a major developer failure, or a credit market signal. But based on the data, it will not be quiet.

Today is the Vedic New Year. At 09:32 IST this morning, the Sun moved into Aries and the annual planetary cycle reset.

I have been tracking these ingresses for a few years now, and what makes this one stand out is not the Sun itself. It is the contrast between a very strong Sun in Aries and three other planets still dragging their feet in Pisces. That gap between the solar energy firing up and the rest of the planetary setup still winding down is what shapes this 30-day window.

There are three clear phases between April 14 and May 14. Each one calls for a different approach.

Phase 1 (April 14 to 17): Sit Tight

The first thing to note is that three planets, Mars, Mercury, and Saturn, are all currently in Pisces. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. Think of it as the exhale at the end of the cycle. Three planets there at once creates a diffused, low-energy backdrop even as the Sun enters its strongest position.

On top of that, the Moon is waning toward a New Moon on April 17. Waning moon periods tend to correlate with reduced buying pressure across markets.

Worth noting: NSE is closed today for the Sankranti holiday. Nifty closed down 0.87% on Monday and BankNifty closed off 0.58%. I want to be clear here: that is not a trend reversal. That is the Sankranti recalibration that happens at the start of a new annual cycle. It is normal, it is expected, and the medium-term picture for Indian equities remains slightly bullish.

The practical play for these first four days is simple. Reduce exposure. Protect capital. Let the cycle settle.

April 17 (New Moon) is the target low for Week 1. Historically, the new moon at the start of a fresh cycle acts as a reset point, and buying pressure tends to return from the waxing phase that follows.

Phase 2 (April 17 to May 2): A Rally With One Big Trap

After April 17, the waxing moon phase begins. Markets tend to track this positively across equities and metals. The background bias improves.

But April 19 deserves its own paragraph.

On April 19, two planetary events fire at the same time. Venus moves into Taurus, its own sign, which is a supportive signal for metals and banking stocks. Simultaneously, Mars and Saturn reach an exact conjunction in Pisces. When two slow, heavy, malefic planets meet at the same degree, it creates what is called a Vish Yoga in Vedic astrology. Think of it as two pressure systems colliding. The energy is volatile and unpredictable.

These two events land on the same day. A Venus-into-Taurus rally signal and a Mars-Saturn collision, both on April 19.

The result is almost always a spike followed by a sharp reversal, not a clean directional move. Silver is the most exposed. Silver is already up 1.22% today at $78.01, and the Venus-Taurus entry will likely attract buyers on April 18 and 19. That is the trap. Any silver strength into April 19 should be treated as an exit opportunity, not a reason to add.

For equities, the Vish Yoga on April 19 means intraday volatility. Gaps are possible on NSE. The cleaner play is to exit longs on April 18, wait for April 20, and re-enter after the conjunction energy passes.

There is a secondary volatile day around April 21, when Mercury and Mars meet in Pisces. That is a lesser event compared to April 19, but still worth watching for short-term price swings in metals.

From April 22 through May 1, the path clears. The waxing moon phase provides genuine support. Equities, gold, and even Bitcoin see a steadier backdrop during this stretch.

The Full Moon on May 2 is the exit signal for positions opened during the waxing phase. Metals and indices often spike into a full moon and reverse within 48 to 72 hours. Take profits around May 2, not after.

Phase 3 (May 2 to 14): The Real Shift Arrives

May 2 to 3 brings the first structural upgrade of the period. Mercury exits Pisces and enters Aries. Mercury has been weakened (debilitated) in Pisces since before this Sankranti started. In that state, price signals across markets carry more noise than clarity. When Mercury clears Pisces, trade signal quality improves. NASDAQ and technology stocks are the primary beneficiaries.

May 10 to 11 is the dominant event of the entire 30-day window. Mars moves out of Pisces and into Aries.

Mars in Aries is Mars at home. It is the sign Mars rules, and when it operates there, energy shifts from the slow, dissolved quality of the Pisces stellium to something direct and assertive. This is not a subtle change.

The assets most directly affected:

DAX and European industrials are among the clearest beneficiaries. Mars rules manufacturing, autos, and heavy industry, which is the core of the German index. The DAX has been running below signal strength for most of this period because Mercury (its secondary karaka for precision engineering) is weakened until May 2 to 3. When Mercury clears Pisces first, then Mars enters Aries a week later, DAX industrials get a two-stage catalyst into the close of the period.

Nifty and Indian equities get a momentum upgrade as well. The medium-term bias improves further when Mars activates in Aries.

Bitcoin improves from neutral to mildly positive. No major signal either way right now, but the planetary score for Bitcoin climbs after May 10.

The period closes around May 14 with the Vrishabha Sankranti. What is notable about that handoff: Venus will already be in Taurus, Mars in Aries, and Mercury in Aries direct. That is an unusually strong planetary opening for the next cycle.

Asset-by-Asset Directional Bias

Gold: Neutral for the period overall. The January 2026 structural top at $5,598 remains the ceiling overhead. Saturn in Pisces (a water sign) provides downside support, so the picture is range-bound rather than bearish. No strong accumulation signal is active right now. Volatility stays high. The mild positive shift from Venus in Taurus (April 19) is real, but it does not flip the bigger picture.

Silver: Bearish bias. Multiple signals are pointing to a top environment simultaneously. The January 2026 cycle peak at $116 is the reference point. Silver at $78.01 today looks like a corrective recovery, not a new bull leg. The Venus-Taurus entry on April 19 will likely produce a short-term spike that is a fade, not a follow-through. A genuine recovery for silver requires a completely different planetary setup that does not arrive within this 30-day window.

Bitcoin: Neutral. Range-bound through the first half of the period. Signal clarity returns when Mercury exits Pisces in early May. The real improvement arrives with Mars in Aries on May 10 to 11. No fresh directional bets are warranted until then.

Nifty / BankNifty: Slightly bullish medium-term. Near-term softness through April 17. The April 17 New Moon is the first low candidate for the cycle. Equity momentum picks up through the waxing phase and accelerates after Mars enters Aries.

S&P 500: Constructive but in consolidation. The S&P 500 closed at 6,886 on Friday, roughly 1.5% below the February 2026 high near 6,993. No major crash signal and no strong recovery signal are currently active. The planetary backdrop at the NYSE open today was genuinely auspicious, consistent with the positive prior close. The consolidation phase likely holds through April, with a broader momentum shift expected when Mars enters Aries on May 10 to 11. That is the catalyst that could push the index back toward and above the February high.

NASDAQ: Lagging but with a clear upgrade date. Mercury is the primary planetary significator for technology and the NASDAQ. Mercury is currently weakened in Pisces, which suppresses signal clarity and tends to correlate with indecisive, choppy price action in tech. The NASDAQ closed up 1.23% at the prior session, but that is the Sankranti bounce rather than a new trend leg. The real shift comes when Mercury exits Pisces and enters Aries around May 2 to 3. From that point, the technology index gets cleaner directional momentum. Hold what you have, but wait for early May before adding to tech positions.

DAX: Cautious through April, then improving in two stages. Saturn governs the German index as the karaka for manufacturing, autos, and heavy industry. Saturn is currently in Pisces, a neutral placement that provides no structural tailwind for German industrials. On top of that, Mercury, the secondary signal for precision engineering and tech exports, is weakened until May 2 to 3. The practical result is that DAX is running without a strong planetary driver for the first three weeks. Two upgrades then arrive in sequence. Venus entering Taurus on April 19 gives a partial lift to the consumer and luxury-adjacent names. Mercury clearing Pisces around May 2 to 3 restores signal clarity for the engineering and tech export side. The strongest catalyst of the period for DAX is Mars entering Aries on May 10 to 11, which directly energises the manufacturing and industrials sector that makes up the backbone of the index.

FTSE 100: Energy and commodity sector leadership expected. FTSE opened up 0.27% today and the planetary setup points to its energy-heavy composition being a relative advantage during this period. That sector lead holds through most of the 30-day window. Consumer and financial stocks pick up a secondary tailwind from April 19 when Venus moves into Taurus. Overall the FTSE picture is constructive, with the energy weighting working in its favour right now.

ASX 200: Resources sector has structural downside protection through this period. Saturn in a water sign is the key signal here, and it keeps the floor under mining and materials stocks even when broader sentiment wobbles. The ASX closed up 0.50% today. Energy and mining names are the ones to watch rather than financials or discretionary. The bigger catalyst for the ASX arrives with Mars entering Aries on May 10 to 11, which historically correlates with assertive momentum in energy and resources. Week 4 of this period is the one to position for in ASX resources.

The Four Dates to Mark Right Now

• April 17 (New Moon): Likely cyclical low for Week 1. Watch for buying pressure to return here.

• April 19 (Vish Yoga + Venus Taurus): Spike-and-reverse day. Do not hold silver through the close. Wait for April 20 to re-enter anything.

The Moon aligns exactly with Rahu (the north lunar node) at around 15:15 UTC, which translates to 11:15 AM Eastern Time. This falls right in the middle of the US session.

In the two hours around that exact point, you typically get sharp, fast moves. Not always directionally clean. The spike can go either way, or both ways in sequence. Bitcoin and speculative names are the most sensitive to this setup.

For NSE, Monday opens under this same energy. A gap-up at the open is possible. Intraday swings can be wide. Do not size up. Let the spike resolve before committing to a direction.

What Actually Happened in 1940-1943

In Vedic sky mapping, the zone called Krittika sits at the edge of Taurus. It is ruled by the Sun, making it directly connected to gold, material wealth, and physical security. When a major slow-moving planet crosses through here, it tends to shake up whatever those things represent in the current era.

In 1942, Uranus entered this zone. At the same time, Saturn was in a seriously weakened state, having been in debilitation (its weakest placement) for the two years prior. By January 1942, Saturn was at 29 degrees Aries, essentially the last breath of that debilitated placement, right on the edge of Taurus. Uranus was at roughly 3.45 degrees into Taurus, already inside Krittika.

The result was two major slow planets grinding against each other in the same narrow zone of the sky while one of them was severely weakened. In market terms: commodity supply chains physically destroyed, gold and oil prices spiked under government controls, and institutions that had held together for decades collapsed under the pressure of total war.

The recovery came when Jupiter entered Cancer in mid-1943, its strongest placement. From that point, the rebuilding phase began. Allied resurgence. Agricultural output recovering. Post-Stalingrad trajectory reversal.

That 1943 recovery signal is the most important parallel for what’s coming in 2026. More on that below.

Five Reasons the Current Setup Is Structurally Different

This is not a replay of 1942. The themes are similar but the intensity and nature of disruption are completely different. Here’s why.

First: Saturn is in a healthy position this time. In 1940-42, Saturn was debilitated in Aries for nearly two full years before entering Taurus. Debilitated Saturn means discipline collapses, aggression without structure, institutions failing to hold the line. Right now, Saturn is in Pisces, a neutral placement where it governs shipping lanes, hidden debt, maritime trade, and regulatory systems. Disruptions route through those channels rather than through physical destruction.

Second: Saturn and Uranus are cooperating, not colliding. In 1942, the two planets met in near-conjunction while Saturn was at its weakest. Right now, they are in a sextile relationship (roughly 60 degrees apart), with the tightest alignment around March 2025 at 0.38 degrees and January 2026 at 1.74 degrees. A sextile means the two planets are working through friction rather than grinding against each other. The outcome is reform under pressure, not collapse.

The expected correction range for high-multiple, low-revenue AI infrastructure names is 30 to 50 percent. These are the companies where the entire valuation rests on projections nobody can verify and revenue timelines that keep shifting.

Companies with actual cash flow and real customers are structurally different and should not be grouped into the same bucket.

Before getting into sectors, there is a planetary context sitting underneath this entire transit that deserves its own mention.

Every one of those years sits in the middle of a significant monetary or credit architecture shift. 1989: the post-Cold War financial order begins forming. 1952-53: the post-war Bretton Woods system consolidates. 1917: the gold standard collapses under war financing pressure.

The 2026 conjunction peaked in early 2026 and is now separating slowly. It remains active through Phase 4, which is the phase we are entering in two days. Its signature is specific: things that appeared solid are revealed as hollow. Not a crash, necessarily. A loss of faith in intermediaries. Currency pegs, debt structures, fund strategies that looked stable get re-examined and found wanting.

Japan’s old-economy Nikkei heavyweights follow the same pattern. The Nikkei tracks US turns with 2 to 4 weeks of lag and with greater amplitude in both directions. The Phase 3 correction produces a sharp drop and sharp recovery. The Phase 1 November window is where the extreme Nikkei move sits, with a 5,000 to 8,000 point swing possible in that single week. Japanese tech and high-growth names face the same Phase 2 and Phase 3 headwinds as their US equivalents. Korean and Taiwanese technology, specifically semiconductor exposure, carries similar risk in Phase 3.

Australia: The Most Magha-Compatible Market

This section is the most detailed because Australia is the market that fits this transit’s structure most naturally, and it received no coverage in the first article.

The ASX is structurally dominated by banks and resource companies. The top constituents by weight are old-economy financial institutions and commodity producers. That is, almost by definition, what Magha nakshatra favors throughout the full nine months. The internal rotation in Australian equities is less dramatic than the US or India precisely because the index already leans heavily toward the right side of the trade.

The Saturn in Pisces connection for Australia:

Pisces governs maritime activity, ocean shipping, and water-linked systems. Australia’s export economy, iron ore, LNG, coal, and agricultural commodities, moves through ocean freight. Saturn in Pisces puts pressure on shipping routes, trade relationships, and commodity contract frameworks. This is not purely negative. It creates repricing events that ASX commodity producers can profit from when the supply narrative shifts.

Phase 4 (March 29 to May 31):

The big four bank sector faces the same Saturn-Pisces financial institution pressure that hits banking everywhere. Flat to slightly down for the index. The resource sector, specifically iron ore and copper majors, builds a base alongside gold in this phase. Gold mining stocks set up quietly during Phase 4. No dramatic move yet, but this is the accumulation period.

Phase 3 (May 31 to August 2):

The ASX index drops 8 to 12% in this phase, with the July 8 to 14 window as the primary risk. ASX technology and growth names, cloud software, buy-now-pay-later sector, and high-multiple tech, face 15 to 25% drawdown risk in this specific window. These names are the Venus-Ketu casualties. The Mercury retrograde from June 28 to July 22 adds specific pressure to any business built on contracts, software subscriptions, or data services.

ASX gold mining stocks hold through this window. They do not crash with the broader market in Phase 3. They are already positioned for what comes next.

Phase 2 (August 2 to October 4):

This is the primary ASX trade of the transit. Australian gold mining companies are among the most geared beneficiaries of the global gold move. Australia is the world’s second-largest gold producer. When gold moves from $4,463 today toward $5,800 to $6,800, ASX gold miners historically outperform the gold price by 2 to 3 times. Silver-exposed junior miners carry even higher gearing on the silver move from $69 toward $110 to $130.

Mid-cap gold producers (Phase 2 core trade), gold developers with near-term production (higher speculative gearing), and silver-exposed juniors (highest gearing, highest risk) are the three tiers of the Australian precious metals trade in Phase 2.

Iron ore and copper majors are a secondary Phase 2 trade. They benefit from the commodity re-rating and from any China demand narrative resurgence. These are more defensive than gold miners, 20 to 35% upside expected versus 50 to 100% or more for gold-specific names.

One currency note for Australian investors: a weaker US dollar during Phase 2, which is the monetary instability scenario, typically strengthens the Australian dollar. A stronger AUD compresses the AUD-denominated gold price gain. If AUD/USD holds below 0.68 during Phase 2, Australian miners get the full USD gold price upside with no currency headwind. If AUD strengthens significantly above 0.70, the local price gain is partially offset. Worth watching.

Phase 1 (October 4 to December 6):

The ASX experiences its most extreme week in November 14 to 15, with a 600 to 1,000 point single-session swing possible. Gold mining stocks spike then consolidate. The big four banks face volatility from the institutional authority events that the Jupiter-Ketu and Mars-Jupiter-Ketu conjunctions produce.

ASX sectors to own by phase:

Phase 4: Gold mining accumulation, iron ore and copper base-building, defensive consumer staples.

Phase 3: Gold mining holds, everything else reduces. Exit ASX technology, cloud software, and buy-now-pay-later names before July 8.

Phase 2: Maximum gold and silver mining exposure. Iron ore and copper majors secondary. Banks flat. Technology underperforms.

Phase 1: Reduce concentrated positions before November 11. Do not hold large directional mining positions unprotected through November 14 to 15.

ASX sectors to avoid:

Cloud software and logistics technology face the sharpest Phase 3 drawdowns. Buy-now-pay-later and fintech names face both the Venus-Ketu July event and the Venus retrograde September repricing. REITs face Saturn-Pisces debt structure pressure through Phase 4 and into Phase 3. None of these are short trades necessarily. They are underperformance candidates relative to the commodity and gold mining sectors.

Risk Management Framework: Phase by Phase

This is the practical version of the analysis, translated into positioning decisions.

Now through May 31 (Phase 4):

Build gold and silver positions on any dip below $4,400 for gold. WTI at $95.92 is near the top of the Phase 4 range. Reduce energy exposure if crude holds above $95. Hold cash or defensive positions in equities. No new growth technology longs. Bitcoin: hold existing positions, no aggressive addition until Phase 3 entry gives clarity on the flush level.

May 31 to August 2 (Phase 3):

The critical action point: do not hold leveraged long Bitcoin or high-multiple technology through the July 8 to 14 window. This is the most specific risk management instruction in the entire transit. The Venus-Ketu conjunction at 0.06 degrees on July 11 is an unusually tight orb for a financial shock trigger.

Gold dipping on or around July 11 is the highest-quality buy signal of the first half of 2026. It is not a fundamental breakdown in gold. It is a short-term shock that passes quickly with Jupiter exalted as the backstop.

After Mercury retrograde ends on July 22, begin repositioning for Phase 2. The week of August 10 to 20 is the precious metals entry window.

August 2 to October 4 (Phase 2):

Maximum precious metals exposure. Reduce equity exposure as Venus retrograde begins around September 10. Crude oil: trade the $90 to $115 range rather than a directional trend. Watch gold’s $6,000 level as the Bitcoin scenario indicator. If gold crosses $6,000 with equities recovering from Phase 3, Bitcoin Scenario A becomes the working assumption for Phase 1.

August 22 is the highest volatility day outside November. Set alerts.

October 4 to December 6 (Phase 1):

Reduce concentrated positions before November 11. The Jupiter-Ketu exact conjunction on November 11 at 0.05 degrees is itself a major event before the triple conjunction on November 14 to 15. Do not leave large directional bets unprotected overnight through that week.

After the November 14 to 15 blow-off, a significant reversion is likely within 5 to 10 trading days. The move does not sustain. December 6 marks the Rahu-Ketu axis shift to Capricorn/Cancer, which begins a new transit cycle. Re-evaluate all positions at that point.

The core question I am tracking through all of this: does the Phase 3 flush in July confirm the Scenario A or Scenario B setup for Bitcoin in November? Everything else being roughly equal, the depth of the July correction tells you how strong the Phase 2 recovery is likely to be. A deeper July flush, Bitcoin to $45,000 range, followed by a full Phase 2 recovery past $100,000, is the condition that sets up the $150,000 to $200,000 Scenario A in November.

I mapped this transit against the 2007-08 cycle last week and kept staring at the same thing. The planetary setup that preceded gold’s run from $800 to $1,000, the one that produced a 27-year silver high, is repeating. Not roughly. Almost exactly.

Ketu moves into Magha nakshatra on March 29 and stays through December 6. Nine months, four distinct phases, and three specific dates I think will define where markets close out 2026. This article covers all of it with actual price levels.

What Makes This Transit Worth Tracking

Ketu is a mathematical axis point in Vedic astrology associated with sudden breaks from established patterns. When it transits Magha nakshatra, the historical record shows pressure on legacy institutions, government authority, and monetary structures.

The last three times this happened: 2007-08 (financial crisis, gold breakout), 1988-89 (S&L credit restructuring, currency repricing), 1969-71 (Bretton Woods collapse, gold peg erosion). Each one produced its largest precious metals move in the second phase of the transit. That pattern holds across three very different macro environments. It is the foundation of this forecast.

The Four Phases

The transit splits into four natural sub-periods. Think of them as separate chapters with different market characters.

• Phase 4 (P4): March 29 to May 31. Slow institutional squeeze. Stress accumulates in financials, housing, and sovereign debt. Not explosive, but sets the conditions for everything after.

• Phase 3 (P3): May 31 to August 2. Volatility spike mid-phase. The shock event lands around July 11. Bitcoin and equities most exposed. Gold holds.

• Phase 2 (P2): August 2 to October 4. The primary precious metals move of the entire transit. Three tight planetary events in the opening 25 days. This is where the big gold and silver numbers come from.

• Phase 1 (P1): October 4 to December 6. The most extreme phase. November 14 to 15 is the year’s highest-risk multi-asset window. Direction depends on what happened in Phase 2.

Phase 4: March 29 to May 31. Conditions Are Being Set

This phase does not produce dramatic price moves on its own. What it does is lay the groundwork. Financials, housing, and government debt sectors come under pressure through April and May. It is a slow grind where institutional cracks form beneath the surface, not a crash.

The planetary stack at Phase 4 entry includes Sun and Saturn together in Pisces (restriction and authority in a dissolution sign) and Jupiter building toward its exaltation entry on June 2. That Jupiter entry is what breaks the Phase 4 pressure open as Phase 3 begins.

Phase 4 asset ranges:

• Gold: $4,400 to $5,000. Building base, upward bias, no parabolic move yet.

• Silver: $68 to $78. Lagging gold, gold/silver ratio holding between 58 and 65.

• WTI Crude: $78 to $95. Range-bound, demand narrative weak.

• Bitcoin: $65,000 to $85,000. Consolidation, not a crash window.

• S&P 500: 5,900 to 6,800. Wide volatile range, distribution character.

• Nikkei: 50,000 to 57,000. Tends to lag US turns by 2 to 4 weeks.

• Sensex: 21,500 to 24,500. PSU banking and housing finance under stress.

Nothing dramatic on price. But watch the financials and PSU-linked names in India. The stress is building even where prices do not confirm it yet.

Phase 3: May 31 to August 2. July 11 Is the Date

This phase has two distinct halves. Before July 11, markets absorb Jupiter’s exaltation entry on June 2 and generally hold. After July 11, the character changes sharply.

July 11: Venus exact conjunct Ketu at 0.06 degrees.

Venus governs financial markets, money, and commodity pricing. A 0.06 degree orb is extremely tight. This configuration historically produces fund closures, exchange disruptions, currency peg breaks, or surprise central bank announcements. The active risk window is July 8 to July 14.

The protecting factor: Jupiter is exalted during this window. That puts a floor under the damage. The historical comparison is closer to 1989 style (sharp drop, V-shaped recovery) than 2007 style (multi-month decline).

Mercury retrograde runs June 28 to July 22. Data released in this window gets revised materially later. Contracts and agreements signed carry reversal risk. Exchange and data infrastructure failures carry elevated probability.

Phase 3 asset ranges:

• Gold: $4,800 to $5,500. Holds and extends through Phase 3. Buy the dip within the July 8 to 14 window. Gold is not the target of this shock, it is the safe harbor.

• Silver: $72 to $90. Starting to activate late in Phase 3, setting up for the Phase 2 move.

• WTI Crude: $80 to $105. Volatile, supply data distorted by Mercury retrograde.

• Bitcoin: $45,000 to $58,000 flush risk. July 8 to 18 is the highest-risk Bitcoin window of the entire 9-month transit. Mercury retrograde combined with the Venus-Ketu conjunction raises exchange outage risk, smart contract failures, and custody issues significantly. Expect a 25 to 35% drawdown from the Phase 3 entry level within this window.

• S&P 500: 10 to 15% correction followed by recovery. Nasdaq and tech take the hardest hit. Jupiter exalted cushions the recovery.

• Nikkei: Sharp drop then recovery, mirrors the US but with greater force behind each move.

• Sensex IT: Sharp single-leg drop in July. Infosys, TCS, Wipro most exposed.

Try This: If you hold Bitcoin going into June, set a hard stop or reduce position size before July 8. This is not a general bear market call. It is a specific 10-day event window tied to an unusually tight planetary conjunction. The recovery comes after. The timing matters.

Phase 2: August 2 to October 4. The Gold and Silver Move

Every Ketu-Magha cycle across the last 60 years produced its largest precious metals move in Phase 2. No exceptions.

• 2007-08: Gold ran from $800 to $1,000, a 25% gain. Silver hit a 27-year high.

• 1970: The Bretton Woods gold peg began its terminal erosion phase.

• 1989: S&L credit restructuring triggered FX and metals repricing across the cycle.

Three different macro backdrops. Same phase. Same pattern.

Three tight planetary events land in the first 25 days of Phase 2:

August 15: Mercury conjunct Jupiter exact at 0.03 degrees in Pushya nakshatra (Cancer). Pushya is called the nourisher in Vedic texts. Jupiter is still exalted at this point. Mercury in Pushya is associated with institutional capital flow into wealth-preserving assets. The week of August 10 to 20 is the highest-quality precious metals entry window of 2026.

August 22: Sun conjunct Ketu exact at 0.38 degrees. Sun is in its own sign (Leo). Ketu cutting across it produces an eclipse-like disruption to government and central bank authority. Most likely triggers: a Fed credibility shock, a US sovereign narrative break, a surprise monetary policy reversal, or a challenge to the dollar’s reserve currency role. August 22 is the single highest-probability day for a monetary authority shock in 2026. The week around this date is where the largest single-week gold move of the year most likely happens.

August 25: Mercury conjunct Ketu exact at 0.43 degrees. Three days after the August 22 Sun-Ketu event, Mercury adds an information confirmation layer. Expect an announcement or data release that amplifies whatever triggered on August 22.

Background during Phase 2: Saturn is in retrograde in Pisces, keeping persistent pressure on banking and debt structures. Venus goes retrograde around September 10 and stays there through early November, which reprices balance sheets and weakens growth equities while hard assets rise.

Phase 2 asset ranges:

• Gold: $5,800 to $6,800. This is the primary move of the year. The August 22 week alone carries $150 to $300 single-session potential. Entry window: August 10 to 20.

• Silver: $110 to $130. Silver outperforms gold in percentage terms in this phase, consistent across all three historical cycles. At gold $6,000 with a gold/silver ratio of 52, silver reaches $115. At gold $6,500 with a ratio of 50, silver reaches $130.

• WTI Crude: $90 to $115. Mars in Gemini through August keeps supply-chain narratives volatile.

• Bitcoin: $80,000 to $130,000. The monetary instability narrative following the Phase 3 flush drives the recovery. The shift from “risk asset” framing to “monetary hedge” framing is what powers this move.

• S&P 500: 5,600 to 6,200. Flat to weak. Miners and commodity stocks outperform growth significantly during this phase.

• Sensex: Gold-linked sectors lead. Titan and gold ETFs outperform. IT underperforms.

Try This: The August 10 to 20 entry window for gold and silver is the clearest setup of the year. The Mercury-Jupiter conjunction on August 15 followed by the Sun-Ketu event on August 22 gives you a buy-before-the-catalyst window that all three historical cycles confirm. If you act on only one thing in this article, that window is it.

Phase 1: October 4 to December 6. November Is the Wildcard

Phase 1 concentrates more planetary events in a shorter window than any other phase. Most of them hit within a single week.

The sequence going in:

• October 4: Mars enters Cancer in a debilitated state. Forceful actions by leadership tend to backfire in this placement rather than achieve intended results.

• October 31: Jupiter enters Leo and begins moving toward Ketu.

• Around November 5: Venus retrograde turns direct, providing some financial market stabilization.

• November 11: Jupiter exact conjunct Ketu at 0.05 degrees. A major institutional authority event. Likely triggers: central bank shock, political leadership exit, or a large institutional failure.

• November 13: Mars enters Leo.

• November 14 to 15: Mars, Jupiter, and Ketu all within 0.5 degrees. The most extreme multi-asset event of the entire transit.

The triple conjunction on November 14 to 15 brings Mars (speed, force, fire), Jupiter (scale, institutional weight), and Ketu (severance, explosion) within half a degree of each other. This produces a sharp, violent move, not a gradual slide. Peak impact lands within 3 to 5 trading days of November 14 to 15. The week of November 11 to 20 is the year’s highest-risk and highest-reward window across every asset class tracked here.

Phase 1 asset ranges:

• Gold: $6,500 to $8,000 spike, then consolidation. Mars and Jupiter in Leo produce a blow-off top character.

• Silver: $135 to $165 spike. Higher percentage gain than gold in the blow-off, consistent with historical Phase 1 behavior.

• WTI Crude: $110 to $140 spike risk. Mars entering Leo on November 13 combined with the triple conjunction on November 14 to 15 makes a geopolitical supply shock the primary crude risk of the year.

• S&P 500: 5,200 to 6,500 with extreme November volatility. A 5 to 8% single-session circuit-breaker event is possible around November 14 to 15.

• Nikkei: A 5,000 to 8,000 point swing is possible in the November window. The year’s most extreme week for Japanese equities.

• Bitcoin: Two scenarios. Covered in full below.

Bitcoin: Both Scenarios for Phase 1

Bitcoin is the one asset where the outcome genuinely forks depending on what macro conditions look like by October. The good news is you will know which scenario is active before November. There are clear, observable signals.

Scenario A: Monetary instability is dominant.

Conditions for this to be active: Gold above $6,000 by October, dollar in a confirmed downtrend, equities recovered from the Phase 3 correction.

In this case, Bitcoin holds its monetary hedge identity through the Phase 2 recovery. When the triple conjunction fires on November 14 to 15, Bitcoin gets pulled into the same explosive move as gold. Target: $150,000 to $200,000 in a 48-hour spike. Fast and violent, not a gradual trend.

Scenario B: Deflationary pressure is dominant.

Conditions for this to be active: Equities in a confirmed bear market by September, gold stalls below $5,500, dollar holds strength.

In this case, Bitcoin acts as a risk asset rather than a hedge into the Phase 1 event. The triple conjunction triggers capitulation. Target: $30,000 to $45,000 before medium-term recovery begins.

How to read which scenario is live: Watch gold and the S&P 500 through Phase 2 (August and September). If gold crosses $6,000 and equities recover from the Phase 3 correction, Scenario A is the working assumption. If equities remain in a bear trend through September, move to Scenario B. You have a 6-week window in August and September to assess this before November positions need to be set.

Crude Oil: Wait for October

Crude stays range-bound through Phase 4 and Phase 3 at $78 to $105. Supply data is distorted by Mercury retrograde in July, so do not over-read moves during that window.

Phase 2 sees crude at $90 to $115 as the Mars in Gemini narrative keeps volatility elevated, but this is not where the big crude trade is.

The real crude risk concentrates in Phase 1. Mars entering Leo on November 13, combined with the triple conjunction on November 14 to 15, is the setup for a geopolitical supply shock. The Phase 1 crude range is $110 to $140 spike risk. Not a base case for the full period. A specific, late-year event risk that is worth holding on your radar if you trade crude futures or energy equities.

Equities: Sector Rotation Over Index Level

The S&P 500, Nikkei, and Sensex all follow a broadly similar path through this transit: volatile range in Phase 4, sharp correction and recovery in Phase 3, flat-weak in Phase 2 as commodities take over, then extreme in the November window.

But the sector story matters more than the headline index. Magha nakshatra favors legacy, state-linked, and old-economy sectors throughout the full 9-month period.

In India: PSU banks, public sector companies, defence, and state infrastructure. Globally: old-line financial institutions, DAX legacy industrials, FTSE old-line financials, China state-owned enterprises, Japan’s old-economy Nikkei heavyweights.

Growth, technology, and new-economy sectors underperform this background, particularly in Phase 2 when Saturn retrograde in Pisces puts maximum pressure on banking and debt structures.

For Sensex: gold-linked stocks and ETFs lead in Phase 2 while the IT sector takes its sharpest single-leg down in July (Phase 3).

Try This: The Phase 2 sector rotation is one of the clearest positioning opportunities in this forecast. Reduce IT and high-growth exposure going into August. Add PSU/old-economy and metals-linked names before the August 10 to 20 entry window.

The Three Dates That Define 2026 Markets

I have been tracking equinox windows for a while now. Most of the time, March 20 or 21 rolls around and the planetary setup is ordinary enough that the seasonal date barely registers as a signal on its own. The equinox is a calendar event. The planets are what matter.

This year is genuinely different.

On March 20-21, 2026, Mercury stations direct in Aquarius at almost exactly the same moment the Sun crosses the vernal equinox point.
