The Full Moon went exact at 23:56 UTC on June 29. By that point, most equity desks were already closed. COMEX metals and Bitcoin took the hit first.

What I want to walk through is not just this Full Moon in isolation. The more interesting story is what is sitting in the background right now across every market, and why a planetary combination that has not appeared since 1991 is setting the tone for the next two to four months.

Some assets have clear support from this. Others are facing hard blocks. A few are getting directly contradictory signals that require careful position sizing. Let me go through it market by market.

The Background Signal Everyone Should Know About

Jupiter is exalted in Cancer right now. It entered Cancer on June 2 and moved into Pushya nakshatra on June 18.

Jupiter exalted in Cancer plus Jupiter in Pushya simultaneously is called Guru Pushya Yoga. The last time this combination appeared was 1991. That year marked a significant equity market turning point that preceded a multi-year bull run.

This combination does not mean everything goes up every day. What it does mean is that the planetary backing for conventional assets, particularly equities and eventually gold, is at maximum strength for the next several months.

It also has a direct inverse effect on Bitcoin. More on that in the crypto section.

The Full Moon itself reads as neutral directionally. No planet was within 8 degrees of the Moon at the exact moment it peaked. The Sun’s dignity in Gemini is neutral, not strong. So the FM is not adding a directional push either way. What carries weight is the background configuration, and that is Jupiter.

People love hating Mercury retrograde. Three weeks of missed emails, delayed flights, and bad decisions. Tech Twitter goes quiet. Crypto Twitter panics. Financial Twitter mostly ignores it.

But here is the thing. I have been running this analysis since the last time this specific configuration showed up, and I can tell you that this retrograde is not the one to ignore. Not if you hold Nifty, gold, silver, or any of the other markets I cover here.

The reason comes down to one word: Punarvasu.

More on that in a second. First, let me put the rarity of this setup in context, because I think it changes how you think about the next 25 days.

What Punarvasu Is (Plain English Version)

In Vedic astrology, the sky is divided into 27 nakshatras. Think of them as specific zones of the sky, each with its own personality, history, and market signature. Most people who follow this work know a few of them: Pushya, Rohini, Ashwini. Punarvasu tends to fly under the radar.

Its symbol is a quiver of arrows. The idea behind it is direct: the arrows were released, and now they return. The Sanskrit root confirms this: Puna means again, Vasu means light, wealth, excellence. Put them together and you get “the return of wealth.” That is the literal translation of the nakshatra where Mercury is spending all 25 days of this retrograde.

Punarvasu sits at the border of Gemini and Cancer. Two very different signs with very different market meanings. Gemini rules ideas, communication, short-term speculation. Cancer rules sentiment, safe-haven flows, and emotional money. Punarvasu straddles both.

Its ruling planet is Jupiter. And that detail matters more than almost anything else in this analysis.

Why This Setup Has Not Happened Since 1990

Mercury retrograde touches Punarvasu roughly every 6-7 years. But “touching” it and staying inside it for the entire arcare two completely different things.

I went back through the ephemeris to 1990 and checked every instance where Mercury’s retrograde arc touched Punarvasu’s narrow 13-degree span. There were six prior instances. In every single one of them, only one of Mercury’s two stations (the point where it stops and reverses direction) fell inside Punarvasu. The other station always landed outside it, either in Pushya deeper in Cancer, or in Ardra on the Gemini side.

This year is different. Mercury stations retrograde on June 30 at Cancer 2°, well inside Punarvasu. It crosses back into Gemini on July 8 and stations direct on July 24 at Gemini 22°, also inside Punarvasu. The entire 25-day arc, both turning points included, stays within Punarvasu’s span.

That has not happened once in the last 36 years of data.

The practical implication: the nakshatra’s signal is not diluted by one station happening elsewhere. The full retrograde is “signed” by Punarvasu’s character, which is the return of wealth and the resumption of interrupted trends.

The Jupiter Factor: Why 2026 Is Exceptional Even Among Rare Events

Here is what takes this from rare to genuinely unusual.

At the exact moment Mercury turns retrograde on June 30, Jupiter is sitting at Cancer 5°, just 3.7 degrees away. That is close enough to count as a conjunction.

Jupiter in Cancer is what Vedic astrology calls exalted. Exaltation means the planet is functioning at the top of its range. Cancer is where Jupiter’s qualities of wisdom, expansion, and abundance work most freely. It is arguably Jupiter’s single most powerful placement in the zodiac.

So what you have on June 30 is: Mercury (the planet of markets, trade, and information flow) turning backward, conjunct Jupiter at its strongest, inside the nakshatra of the return of wealth.

The classical read on this combination is that any early confusion or price reversal gives way to a more considered, fundamentals-driven move. The “second look” that happens during any retrograde gets filtered through Jupiter’s judgment in this case. Jupiter in Cancer is not known for panic selling.

This is not a collapse setup. It is a deep-breath-before-the-next-move setup.

Market by Market: What the Data Shows

I am going to cover each instrument separately with the relevant historical data and the current signal picture. This is a free-tier article, so directional bias only, no specific entry zones or price levels. Those go to paid subscribers.

Nifty 50: The Strongest Directional Call in This Window

The historical record for Nifty during Mercury Rx in Punarvasu is tight but consistent.

When Mercury’s retrograde station fell inside Punarvasu (2013 and 2020), Nifty delivered +6.1% and +5.4% respectively during the retrograde window. When Mercury’s retrograde station fell outside Punarvasu, deeper in Cancer at Pushya (2019), Nifty dropped 5%.

The station location is the key variable. This year it lands at Cancer 2°, squarely inside Punarvasu, matching the 2013/2020 setup exactly.

The planetary signal for Nifty is running at its strongest reading in recent cycles. An additional overlay from the current Jupiter exaltation period suppresses aggressive sell signals for equities. The interpretation is that institutional-level buying bias is structurally present while Jupiter remains exalted in Cancer.

Directional bias: Bullish during the retrograde, June 30 to July 24. Two dates worth marking: July 5-6 (signal peaks) and July 20-23 (second peak). Both are windows where the underlying signal hits its highest reading.

Post-July 24 caution is warranted. Both 2013 and 2020 showed Nifty giving back gains in the week following Mercury’s direct station. That pullback, if it comes, is likely a re-entry window rather than a trend reversal.

Try This: If you track Nifty, add July 5-6 and July 20-23 to your watch list now. Those are the windows where the signal clusters highest. Post-July 24 softness, if it shows up, has historically been temporary.

BankNifty: The Outlier

BankNifty is the clearest contra-signal in this window.

The signal for banking names sits at a weak negative reading throughout the retrograde period, improving only slightly around July 24 as Mercury approaches its direct station. BankNifty has been trailing Nifty in the current macro cycle and nothing in this retrograde configuration changes that picture.

Historical instances of Mercury Rx in Punarvasu do not show the same bullish pattern for banking names that they show for broader Nifty. The two tend to diverge during this configuration.

Directional bias: Neutral to mild underperformance versus Nifty. If you are long BankNifty relative to Nifty, this is a period to watch that spread carefully. The gap between the two may narrow somewhat around July 24 when the banking signal shows a modest improvement.

S&P 500: Constructive, But Watch the Exit

Five of six historical instances showed the S&P 500 flat to positive during Mercury Rx in Punarvasu. The one exception (2019 at -0.8%) was again the “wrong station” instance where Mercury turned retrograde outside Punarvasu.

Average return across the five positive instances: +2.4% during the retrograde window.

The post-direct pattern for US equities is worth noting: 2000, 2006, and 2013 all showed a short pullback in the week after Mercury turned direct. 2020 was the exception (continued higher). The base case here is that the retrograde itself is constructive, but the direct station on July 24 introduces a short-term wobble risk.

The current Jupiter exaltation overlay for global equities is active and adds a layer of support to the bullish call. The signal context suppresses aggressive sell setups while Jupiter remains in Cancer.

Directional bias: Upward bias during the retrograde. Mild reversal risk in the first week after July 24. If you are managing a US equity position, the zone around July 24 is worth watching for short-term softness.

Gold: Bullish, With an Important Update From My Earlier Draft

Gold is 4 for 4 positive during Mercury Rx in Punarvasu across every measured instance since 2006.

Returns: +1.1% (2006), +10.3% (2013), +1.7% (2019), +3.7% (2020). Average: +4.2%. The 2013 instance, which produced the +10.3% move, also featured a strong Jupiter. The closest analog to 2026.

Mars in Taurus throughout the entire retrograde window adds a moderate bullish overlay for gold, an earth sign, Venus-ruled, with material accumulation energy. That was not in my first draft.

Venus entering Leo on July 5 (not July 8 as I originally stated; that date was wrong) adds another bullish layer for gold. Leo is gold’s sign in classical Vedic astrology, and Venus as the ruler of luxury assets moving into Leo historically increases gold demand. This signal activates July 5 and runs through the end of the retrograde.

What that means: the bearish counter-signal that activates July 8 (Mercury in Gemini) is now more than offset by two additional bullish signals running simultaneously. The net picture for gold is more bullish than I described in my first draft, not just “floor with chop.”

There is still some choppiness expected between July 8 and July 20 as the counter-signals wrestle. But then on July 20, the Sun moves into Pushya. That triggers a strong bullish signal for gold that runs into the direct station and beyond.

Directional bias: Bullish throughout. Choppy patch expected July 8-20. Cleaner directional move from July 20 onward. The post-direct picture also looks constructive. 2019 showed +5.4% in the week after Mercury turned direct.

Try This: Mark July 8 and July 20 as the two pivot dates for gold. If there is a dip between those dates, the signal picture suggests it is noise rather than trend. The July 20 Sun-Pushya trigger is the one to watch for the cleaner move.

Silver: The Historically Strongest Instrument, With One Important Nuance

Silver’s track record during Mercury Rx in Punarvasu is the strongest of any instrument I track.

Returns: -0.1% (2006), +10.6% (2013), +7.7% (2019), +10.5% (2020). Three of four instances delivered double-digit gains during the retrograde alone. The one flat instance (2006) then surged +7.9% in the seven days after Mercury turned direct.

So across all four measured instances, silver delivered meaningful gains either during or immediately after the retrograde. Every single one.

The signal rule that applies most directly: Mercury retrograde in this configuration points to volatile price action during the window, with the final direction resolving upward after the direct station. That is the primary call.

Venus moving into Leo on July 5 activates a relative signal: when Venus is in Leo, the luxury and metals demand tends to shift toward gold specifically. Silver may still rise in absolute terms (the primary signal still says final direction up), but gold is likely to outperform silver from July 5 onward. The gold-silver ratio is expected to expand, meaning gold does more.

This does not change the absolute call for silver. It changes the relative call. If you are deciding between gold and silver for this window, the cleaner trade from July 5 onward is gold. If you are already in silver, the signal still points upward. Just expect gold to outpace it.

The cleanest silver window is after July 24 when Mercury turns direct. The Sun-Pushya signal also activates July 20, adding a second confirming signal for silver in the post-direct period. Both 2006 (+7.9%) and 2019 (+4.8%) showed the post-direct week as silver’s strongest move.

Directional bias: Absolute direction bullish. But gold outperforms silver from July 5. Post-July 24 is the cleaner silver entry window. If you have a choice between the two metals right now, gold has the edge until at least July 20-24. Silver’s turn comes after.

Try This: Watch the gold-silver ratio from July 5. If it expands (gold rising more), that matches the signal. When the ratio starts compressing again around July 24, that is historically when silver’s stronger relative move begins.

Bitcoin: Rangebound, Then a Sharp Move

The Bitcoin sample here is the smallest, only two clean prior instances.

2019: BTC fell 15.4% during the retrograde, then surged +15.1% in the seven days after Mercury turned direct. 2020: Essentially flat during the retrograde (-0.1%), mildly negative the week after.

The primary signal for BTC in this window comes from a rule with the strongest confirmation rate in the Bitcoin signal set: Jupiter exalted in Cancer historically produces BTC underperformance relative to equities. This is not a new observation. The current Jupiter exaltation cycle that started June 2 already has three prior confirmations in the data, all showing the same pattern. Institutional capital flows toward equities when Jupiter is at this strength; digital assets tend to lag.

There is an additional layer: Ketu (the south lunar node) is stationary in Magha for this entire window. The nakshatra watch data for BTC flags Magha-Ketu as a setup for sudden reversals in either direction. Think of it as elevated volatility risk, not a directional call.

The one intra-period exception worth noting: when the Moon transits Cancer each month (a roughly 2.5-day window), the Jupiter-BTC drag signal temporarily pauses. Those short windows can produce a quick counter-trend bounce. Outside those Moon-in-Cancer bursts, the drag is present.

Directional bias: Choppy to sideways, underperforming equities during the retrograde. Watch for a sharp directional move in the 7-14 days after July 24. The Ketu setup elevates the magnitude risk. Direction of that post-direct move is not confirmed by the data; the 2019 analog would be a sharp reversal up, but the sample is too small to lean on.

The Three Date Clusters That Matter

If you only look at three things over the next 25 days, make it these:

June 30: Mercury stations retrograde, conjunct Jupiter at 3.7°. The retrograde begins. This is the start of the constructive window for Nifty and S&P 500. Gold’s structural floor is active.

July 5-8: Venus enters Leo on July 5, activating the gold-over-silver relative signal. The peak equity signal fires July 5-6. Mercury crosses into Gemini on July 8, adding short-term noise to gold. Sun enters Punarvasu July 8, beginning a two-week period where both Mercury and the Sun are in the same nakshatra simultaneously. This cluster of July 5-8 is the busiest window in the retrograde.

July 20-24: The Sun enters Pushya on July 20, triggering the strong gold and silver bullish signals. The equity signal peaks again July 20-23. Mercury turns direct on July 24, resolving the silver primary signal and introducing the BTC sharp-move risk. This is the most important cluster if you are managing positions actively.

Key Takeaways

Nifty is the strongest call in this window. The 2013 and 2020 analogs are clean matches to the current setup. Peak signal windows are July 5-6 and July 20-23. Watch for mild softness after July 24.

BankNifty is the exception. Neutral at best, underperforming Nifty at worst. That spread between the two may be the most actionable divergence in Indian markets this month.

S&P 500 follows the same constructive path as Nifty, with a short wobble risk in the week after July 24.

Gold is bullish throughout. The updated signal picture is stronger than my first draft showed. July 8-20 has some noise; July 20 onward is the cleaner move.

Silver is absolutely bullish, but gold has the relative edge from July 5. The post-July 24 window is historically silver’s strongest entry point in this configuration.

Bitcoin sits out the party until Mercury turns direct. Then watch for a sharp move, magnitude more than direction.

July 24 is the single date that threads all of this together. Something shifts for almost every instrument on or just after that date.

The Bigger Picture

Punarvasu means the return of light and wealth. The arrows come back to the quiver.

What I find genuinely interesting about this setup is how many signals are pointing in the same direction at once. Jupiter at its peak strength. A retrograde that stays entirely within a constructive nakshatra. A historical record that is 4 for 4 for gold and consistently bullish for Nifty when the station falls in the right place.

Markets do not always follow planetary timing. There are always external variables, macro surprises, policy shifts. I cover the astrological signal layer, not the full picture. But when the signal is this consistent across instruments and this well-supported by the historical data, it earns more weight than usual.

The window between now and July 24 is the directional window. July 24 is where it gets interesting again.

I want to be honest about what this article is and what it is not.

It is not a “crash is coming” prediction. Those articles age badly, panic people into bad decisions, and miss the more interesting question, which is usually not whether something breaks but what breaks first and what gets built to replace it.

What I am writing here is a structural map. You cannot time a storm to the minute, but you can look at the pressure systems building and say: this combination of conditions has shown up before, and here is what happened each time.

Saturn moved into the final zone of the zodiac, a 13-degree segment called Revati, on May 17, 2026. It stays there, with a retrograde pause in October, through February 8, 2027. Going back to 1900, this has happened four times before the current cycle. Every single one of those prior windows coincided with a significant restructuring of how money worked globally.

Let me walk through each one, because the pattern is the point.

What Happened the Last Four Times

1908 to 1909: Building Something New Out of the Wreckage

The Panic of 1907 had already happened before this window opened. The Knickerbocker Trust collapsed, Wall Street ran out of liquid reserves, and a severe credit contraction followed. By the time this planetary period began in mid-1908, the worst of the acute crisis was technically over.

But the cleanup produced something more lasting than the crisis itself. The US Congress passed the Aldrich-Vreeland Act in May 1908, which created emergency currency provisions and set up the National Monetary Commission. That commission spent the next several years drafting what became the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. The crisis did not just produce a market bottom. It forced the creation of an entirely new monetary institution.

This is the core pattern: the transit does not always cause the initial crash. It often arrives during the aftermath, when the system that failed is being redesigned.

1938: The Second Wave Nobody Wanted to Believe Was Coming

By April 1938, the Great Depression was supposed to be behind most people. There had been a partial recovery. And then the floor fell out again.

What economists call the Roosevelt Recession, a sharp secondary collapse in 1937 to 1938, saw industrial production fall hard again and unemployment spike back up after years of improvement. Equities suffered a severe secondary bear market. The Roosevelt administration responded with a large emergency fiscal package, roughly $3.75 billion, to stop the deflationary spiral.

What made 1938 distinctly darker than just a domestic economic relapse was what was happening across the Atlantic simultaneously. European trade systems were fragmenting along national lines. Protectionism was spreading. Currency blocs were pulling apart. And the geopolitical buildup toward war was accelerating in ways most financial actors still preferred not to believe.

This is a useful lesson for 2026. The most dangerous period is often not the original crisis. It is when the system appears to be healing but the underlying problems have not actually been resolved, and a secondary shock exposes that.

1967 to 1968: The Most Important Gold and Currency Analogue

This cycle is the one I keep coming back to when I think about gold and currencies in 2026.

The post-World War Two financial system, known as Bretton Woods, had kept global currencies pegged to the US dollar, which was in turn convertible to physical gold at $35 per ounce. By the mid-1960s, aggressive US government spending on both the Vietnam War and domestic programmes had badly eroded the dollar’s actual gold backing. The gap between paper promises and physical reality was widening.

Eight Western central banks had been quietly working together as the London Gold Pool, coordinating to suppress the free-market gold price and maintain the $35 fiction. It worked until it did not.

In November 1967, Britain devalued the pound sterling by 14.3 percent. That single move broke public confidence in the idea that managed currency pegs were permanent. By March 1968, a panicked run on physical gold overwhelmed the pool and it collapsed permanently. The US formally ended dollar-gold convertibility in 1971.

Two things stand out about this period for our purposes. First, equity markets did not collapse at the moment the gold pool failed. The visible market action lagged significantly while the foundational architecture was quietly coming apart. Second, gold itself was the pressure valve. When the gap between paper promises and physical reality became too large to manage, gold moved to reflect the true situation.

That dynamic, elevated equity markets alongside a gold system under fundamental stress, is the closest historical match to what the 2026 data describes.

1997: Where to Watch for Stress First

The April 1997 window aligns with one of the cleanest currency crisis sequences in modern finance.

The Thai baht collapsed in July 1997, unable to maintain its dollar peg as the US Federal Reserve had tightened rates and strengthened the dollar. The contagion was immediate and severe. The Indonesian rupiah, South Korean won, and Malaysian ringgit all followed. IMF intervention, mass capital flight, corporate liquidations. Hundreds of billions of dollars in wealth evaporated across Asia in a matter of months.

Here is the important detail for reading the 2026 setup: through most of the acute Asian crisis, US equity indices stayed strong. Capital fleeing Asian currencies and assets flowed directly into US mega-cap technology stocks. The stress appeared first in peripheral currencies and banking systems. The chain reaction set in motion by the 1997 ingress extended well into 1998. Russia defaulted on its domestic debt in August 1998. Long-Term Capital Management, a US hedge fund carrying enormous leveraged positions, came close to failure in September 1998 and required a Federal Reserve-organised private rescue to prevent wider contagion. These events are part of the broader crisis sequence that began with the 1997 ingress, playing out across the following eighteen months.

The key lesson from 1997 is not that everything crashed at once. It is that peripheral economies and overleveraged systems failed first, developed market indices held up much longer than the macro backdrop seemed to justify, and the stress travelled through currencies and credit before it ever reached headline index prices.

What Is Different About 2026

Each prior cycle had its own specific backdrop. Three things make 2026 stand out in the historical dataset.

Sovereign debt levels. Global sovereign debt is at historically extreme levels by almost any measure. The experiment with near-zero interest rates and central bank balance sheet expansion that ran from 2008 onward left a very large bill. That bill has not been fully settled.

The gold and Treasury parity shift. As of early 2026, official global central bank gold reserves have reached a calculated valuation of approximately $3.909 trillion. Part of what accelerated this was the freezing of Russian foreign reserves held in G7 countries after 2022. That sent a clear signal to every emerging market government: foreign-held financial assets carry seizure risk. Physical gold in your own vault does not. Countries drew a practical conclusion from that and acted on it.

Market concentration. In US equities, a very small number of technology and AI-adjacent stocks have driven the majority of index-level returns through the current cycle. That kind of narrow leadership has historically preceded violent rotation rather than smooth continuation. It does not mean the index falls immediately, but it does mean the index number can look healthy while the average stock is quietly deteriorating.

The June 6–18 Window

Within the broader nine-month transit, there is a specific 13-day period where the astrological configuration becomes particularly concentrated: June 6 to June 18, 2026.

During this window, Jupiter moves into Cancer, where it operates at peak strength. Saturn remains in its current position, Rahu is in Aquarius, and Ketu sits in Leo. In plain terms, this configuration places two major opposing forces, expansion and structural accountability, at simultaneous peak intensity.

The 1967 to 1968 cycle is the closest historical match to this specific overlap. And that period’s lesson was not “equity crash on a specific date.” It was “the inflection point where stress that had been building under the surface started becoming visible to a wider audience.”

What I would watch for in the June window is not major index moves on a particular day. What I would watch for is currency dislocations, emergency central bank statements, unexpected moves in gold, or credit events in overleveraged systems. The kind of thing that looks obvious in hindsight but catches most people mid-sentence.

For equity investors in developed markets, this is not a sell-everything moment based on the historical record. The stronger evidence is that developed market indices tend to hold up through this configuration. The stress shows up elsewhere first.

Asset by Asset

Gold

The primary historical analogue for gold in this cycle is 1967 to 1968, not 1997.

In 1997, gold was in a secular bear market and fell throughout the crisis. Capital fleeing Asia went into US equities and the dollar, not into gold. That matters when reading the current setup.

The 1967 to 1968 cycle tells a different story. Gold was the pressure valve when the gap between paper currency promises and physical reality became too wide to manage. The London Gold Pool failed precisely because demand for physical gold overwhelmed the ability of central banks to suppress its price. When monetary credibility comes into question, gold reflects that.

The current setup has a structural component that did not exist in 1997 and was only partially visible in 1967: central banks themselves are now major buyers of gold. They have been accumulating physical holdings steadily for several years. When central banks are simultaneously the largest buyers and the institutions whose credibility is being questioned, gold’s role as a pressure valve is amplified compared to prior cycles.

The planetary configuration that arrives with Jupiter entering Cancer in early June 2026 has appeared twice in the data going back to the early 1990s. In both prior instances, the period surrounding that configuration marked a meaningful low before a sustained gold bull run. The research does not treat this as a guarantee. But it is the most clearly positive structural signal in the gold KB for this window.

One important timing note for anyone actively trading: the period around late July to August 2026, when the Sun and Venus move together through Cancer, has historically produced a short-term top in gold before the main move continues. The overall multi-month direction the research points to is up, but that July-August window is where traders with tight stops can get shaken out if they are not expecting a correction there. The path will be volatile. Deep selloffs within the broader trend are part of this cycle’s signature in the research, not evidence against it.

Silver

Silver follows gold but with a lag and then a compression. That pattern is consistent across the historical data and is reinforced by the industrial dynamics playing out right now, including structural supply deficits from the green energy transition and growing industrial demand.

The lag phase reflects volatility and false starts in the earlier part of the transit window. The catch-up phase, when it comes, tends to be larger in percentage terms than gold’s move because silver’s beta is higher. The gains can be bigger, and so can the drawdowns during volatile patches.

The research places silver in a similar accumulation window to gold as Jupiter enters Cancer, with the actual catch-up acceleration expected to come in the later stages of the nine-month transit.

US Equities: S&P 500 and Nasdaq

The 1997 parallel is the most useful frame here, and it points in a direction that surprises most people when they hear “monetary stress cycle.”

In 1997, US equities stayed remarkably firm through the worst of the Asian currency collapse. Capital fleeing peripheral markets flowed into US large-caps. The index kept making new highs even as the global backdrop deteriorated significantly. That is not a prediction that US equities will definitely do the same in 2026. But the historical pattern during this type of planetary configuration has consistently favoured developed market index resilience, at least in the first phase of the stress.

The risk for US equities is not an immediate broad collapse. It is the narrowing of leadership I mentioned earlier: fewer and fewer stocks holding the index up while the average stock quietly deteriorates underneath. If you are tracking the S&P 500 as a proxy for “how is the market doing,” you might be looking at the wrong number. Breadth indicators and the performance of the median stock versus the index tell a more honest story right now.

The more significant equity danger signal in the research does not arrive in the 2026 window. It arrives when Saturn moves into its next sign in 2027. That configuration has appeared twice in the modern data and both times preceded severe multi-year bear markets in US equities. That is a different article, and that signal is not here yet. For the period covered in this piece, developed market indices are more resilient than the macro backdrop might suggest.

India: Nifty 50 and BankNifty

India remains in a structural bull market. The research describes the long-term uptrend as intact and notes that the current planetary configuration does not break it. GIFT Nifty was trading around the 23,700 area in May 2026 according to the source data.

What the cycle does produce for India is the kind of sharp, violent intraday and weekly swings that can be deeply unpleasant if you are positioned without adequate buffers. India’s combination of strong index momentum, high foreign positioning, and sensitivity to global currency shocks means its corrections, when they come, can move fast and deep even within a bullish longer-term trend.

United Kingdom: FTSE 100

The FTSE 100 is near record territory as of the data used here. Its sector composition is meaningfully different from Nasdaq-style indices, with heavier exposure to energy, mining, and defensive cash-generating businesses. That structure gives it a different risk profile in an environment where commodity prices are elevated and monetary credibility is under pressure.

The 1967 sterling devaluation happened during a prior Saturn Revati cycle. The UK is not immune to currency and credit shocks, and the historical record suggests direct caution about sterling specifically during these windows. But the index composition, leaning toward real assets and cash flows rather than long-duration growth valuations, may provide some structural buffer compared to pure technology indices.

Australia: ASX 200

Australia has lagged stronger leaders like the Nasdaq and Nikkei through the current cycle. Its economy is more tightly linked to Chinese growth, industrial metals demand, and broader Asian economic sentiment than the other major markets in this analysis.

• Silver: Already a confirmed bull above all moving averages. RSI 57.8. Support $79.00, resistance $82.83. Silver is the stronger technical picture of the two metals right now.

• Bitcoin: Between its moving averages, RSI 63.3. Support $74,959, resistance $90,502. The next few weeks are the last clean window to reduce.

Ten for ten.

The April 2 Full Moon forecast called the direction correctly on every single asset. Gold held above its April 2 level and gained. Silver ran 3%. Crude dropped as flagged. Nifty, BankNifty, both Wall Street indices, Bitcoin, Nikkei, and ASX all moved exactly as called. The structural shift that made all of it possible was Saturn exiting combustion on April 12, which we flagged weeks ahead. That event is now confirmed.

Now every planetary signal is back online at the same time. No planets are combust. All planets are moving direct. It is the cleanest slate since late February. And yet this week will not be smooth.

Gold moved from $4,699.70 to $4,761.90, up $62 or 1.3%. The call was to hold longs. Correct.

Silver went from $74.07 to $76.32, up 3.0%. The call was partial profits before April 19. Still on track.

Nifty moved from 22,915 to 24,050, up 1,135 points or 4.9%. BankNifty from 51,603 to 55,912, up 4,309 points or 8.3%.

S&P 500 from 6,528 to 6,816, up 4.4%. NASDAQ from 21,590 to 22,902, up 6.1%. Bitcoin from $68,092 to $72,795, up 6.9%. Nikkei from 53,364 to 56,924, up 6.7%. ASX 200 from 8,650 to 8,960, up 3.6%.

All 10 calls correct. Saturn clearing combustion was the key. It is now fully cleared and stays clear this entire week.

Monday April 13: Volatile Open

The Moon aligns exactly with Rahu (the north lunar node) at around 15:15 UTC, which translates to 11:15 AM Eastern Time. This falls right in the middle of the US session.

In the two hours around that exact point, you typically get sharp, fast moves. Not always directionally clean. The spike can go either way, or both ways in sequence. Bitcoin and speculative names are the most sensitive to this setup.

For NSE, Monday opens under this same energy. A gap-up at the open is possible. Intraday swings can be wide. Do not size up. Let the spike resolve before committing to a direction.

Gold holds mild support Monday from the Venus-Jupiter alignment currently active. Hold existing positions. No need to add aggressively.

Crude is neutral Monday. No specific entry signal.
