Markets Are Walking Into a Pressure Zone - Here’s What’s Coming June 8-14
There’s a rare double event landing on June 15. A New Moon and a solar sign change hitting on the same day. That kind of setup doesn’t happen every month. And when it does, the days just before it tend to get choppy.
This week is those days.
I’ve gone through the signals for every major market in this forecast. What I found is a split picture: US equities are actually looking firm while India is sitting in a high-risk window all week long. Gold stays quiet early, then starts showing downside pressure from Friday onward. Bitcoin has a quiet week but Friday deserves a close watch.
This is not a week to be aggressive on the long side in Indian markets. And Friday is the key day to have your stops in place across most instruments.
Let’s go through each market.
What’s Inside:
Nifty 50 and Sensex: High-risk all week, Friday sharpens
S&P 500 and Nasdaq: Clearest upside opportunity this week
FTSE 100 and DAX: Quiet but mild positive lean for FTSE
Nikkei 225: Bull macro, low noise Mon-Thu, Friday watch
ASX 200: Flat week, Friday caution only
Gold and Silver: Quiet early, moderate pressure Friday-Sunday
Bitcoin: Neutral Mon-Thu, Friday on watch
The Week at a Glance
Two things are driving the background this week.
First, we are in the final stretch of a lunar cycle. The Moon is moving through its darkening phase heading toward the New Moon on June 15. Markets in a bear macro trend tend to feel this more than others. India, Gold, Silver, and Bitcoin are all in that category.
Second, Jupiter and Venus are sitting very close together in the sky right now, reaching their nearest point around June 9. This kind of alignment historically adds some positive energy to US equities. It is one reason why S&P 500 stands out as the clearest upside play this week while most other markets are mixed or cautious.
From June 12 onward, both the New Moon approach and the Sun entering a new zodiac sign on June 15 add pressure across all markets. Think of it as a pressure spike window: June 12-14 is when the highest-risk readings arrive for the week.
