The March 3 Blood Moon Is Not a Full Moon. It’s the Start of a Six-Month Shake-Up.

Last week I had three separate readers write in asking some version of the same question: “Gold is up, Silver is up, but my stocks are sliding. Should I be buying this tech dip?”

My honest answer? Not yet. And this week’s eclipse is a big part of why.

On March 3 we get a total lunar eclipse, a Blood Moon, sitting at 19 degrees of Leo. It will be visible across most of the world and will hold totality for close to an hour. Beautiful to watch. Rough on portfolios.

But here is what most people miss about this one. This is not a standalone event you ride out for a few weeks and forget about. It is the second half of an eclipse pair that began on February 17 with a solar eclipse in Aquarius. Those two eclipses, on the same Leo-Aquarius axis, just 14 days apart, is one of the more serious setups in Vedic market astrology. The lunar eclipse on March 3 is not a new storm. It is the storm arriving that was loaded up two weeks ago.

Let me walk you through what this actually means for your money.

What’s Inside:

  • Why this eclipse pair hits harder than most

  • Which assets are in the firing line for months, not just weeks

  • Gold’s surprising position in all of this

  • A simple action plan for the next six months

Two Eclipses, One Axis, Twice the Problem

In Vedic astrology, an eclipse season happens when a solar and a lunar eclipse fall on the same zodiac axis within a short window. This time it is the Leo-Aquarius axis, with Leo on one side and Aquarius on the other.

The February 17 solar eclipse carried the heavier long-term weight. Solar eclipses set the structural theme for roughly six months. Think of it like a slow fuse. The March 3 lunar eclipse is what lights it.

The solar eclipse landed in Aquarius right next to Mars. That combination of eclipse energy and Mars aggression in the sign of technology points to real disruption in the tech sector. Not the kind that bounces back in a month. The kind that reorganizes an industry over quarters.

And it gets more specific. Rahu, the shadow planet that Vedic astrology associates with speculation, shadow movements, and crypto markets, was sitting just eight degrees away from the solar eclipse point. Rahu on the eclipse axis is one of those signals I do not like to see if you are heavily exposed to speculative assets.

Try This: Pull up your portfolio right now and make a rough count of what percentage sits in tech stocks and crypto combined. If it is above 40%, this article is worth reading twice.

What Is Actually Happening Right Now in Markets

As of March 1 and 2, we are seeing exactly the pattern I would expect 48 hours before a major eclipse.
