The Spring Equinox and Mercury Station Fall on the Same Day This Year. That Almost Never Happens
I have been tracking equinox windows for a while now. Most of the time, March 20 or 21 rolls around and the planetary setup is ordinary enough that the seasonal date barely registers as a signal on its own. The equinox is a calendar event. The planets are what matter.
This year is genuinely different.
On March 20-21, 2026, Mercury stations direct in Aquarius at almost exactly the same moment the Sun crosses the vernal equinox point. Two separate astronomical events, locking on the same 24-hour window. In the EDRS framework, Mercury stationing direct is a W2 crash trigger. In classical Vedic analysis, the vernal equinox window pulls in institutional rebalancing flows as Q1 positions get reset. Put them together and you get a signal that is harder to ignore than either one alone.
The watch window is March 18-23. That’s right now.
Here’s what the full planetary picture looks like across gold, silver, crude, equities, and Bitcoin.
What’s Inside:
Why the equinox + Mercury station combination is rare and what it means
Gold: the clearest buy signal in this window
Silver: why this is not the same trade as gold
Crude oil: two bearish planets in one chart
Equities (Nifty, S&P, ASX): the W2 universal trigger explained
Bitcoin: the one rule that applies here, every single time
